Smoked Salmon Recipe: Smoked Salmon Appetizer Dip
This smoked salmon recipe has its upside and downside. On the upside, it’s yummy and is an easy salmon recipe to follow. The downside is that this smoked salmon recipe can be quite expensive. A good way to reduce costs is by serving it with breads and crackers.
Ingredients:
3/4 pound smoked salmon, chopped
1/3 cup plain yogurt
1/2 teaspoon olive oil
2 teaspoons grated lemon zest
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons finely chopped scallions (keep white and green parts separate)
Steps:
1. Fit your food processor with a metal blade and combine half of the salmon with the other ingredients except the scallion. Mix until smooth.
2. Stir in the remaining salmon and the white part of the scallions that you chopped.
3. Transfer to a serving dish, cover with plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
4. Sprinkle with the chopped green scallions before serving.
This smoked salmon appetizer drip goes great with all kinds of breads and crackers. Enjoy!
