Easy Salmon Recipe: Very Creamy Salmon Quiche
A few meals and blog posts ago, I shared with you an easy salmon recipe for smoked salmon quiche. Have you made smoked salmon quiche yet? If you haven’t, it’s time you do. You can either start by making that or this easy salmon recipe for very creamy salmon quiche. Both are made tasty and will fill both the tum and the heart!
Ingredients:
9-inch piecrust
8 ounces smoked sockeye salmon
8 ounces shredded Swiss cheese
1 cup heavy whipping cream
4 eggs
1/4 teaspoon granulated salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Place smoked salmon evenly over bottom of piecrust.
3. Top salmon with cheese.
4. In medium bowl blend whipping cream, eggs, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
5. Pour this mixture over cheese making sure to cover all of the cheese.
6. Bake 45 minutes until quiche is puffed and lightly browned.
See? When I said this easy salmon recipe is easy, I meant it. It is an easy salmon recipe you can make on the quick!
